Managing access control
Managing a community also requires granting the correct roles and permissions to the correct users, or delegating this task to group managers. Recall from the Access Control page that access control in Semantic Treehouse happens on two levels: global access control and group-level access control. On this page, we'll discuss how to manage these roles for yourself and others.
Granting or revoking global roles

For this action, you need to have the role global "Account Manager".
- In the left-side menu bar, click the "Accounts" menu item.
- You will now be directed to a list of accounts, from which you can select the account you want to manage.
- Press the vertical ellipsis (⋮) next to a user's name to open the context menu. Click "New/Edit user".
- Here you can assign or revoke roles for the user.
Granting or revoking group-level roles

For this action, you need to have the roles "Maintainer" and "Account Manager" in the group you want to manage.
- In the left-side menu bar, click the "Groups" menu item.
- You will now be directed to a list of groups, from which you can select the group you want to manage.
- On the group overview page, click the vertical ellipsis (⋮) next to the group name to open the context menu. Click on "Edit group".
- Click on the "Members" tab to manage the roles of the group members:
